Rootd Pet — Whole-Pet Health Strategy & Wellness Coaching
Pet Health Strategy & Coaching

You don't have to figure your pet out alone.

Rootd Pet is a personal strategy partner for pet parents who want to do right by their animal. Carter looks at your pet as a whole, builds a plan made just for them, and gives you the clarity and confidence to make the next call, working alongside your veterinarian, never instead of them.

Coaching and education, not veterinary care.

If this sounds familiar

You've tried everything. And you're still not sure it's working.

The supplements. The food switches. The endless forums and conflicting advice. You care more than anyone in the room, and you're still lying awake wondering if you're doing the right thing.

Every product promised to be the one thing that changed everything. The fifteen-minute visit sent you home with a prescription and no plan for the months in between. So you second-guess every decision, because no one has ever looked at your animal, as a whole, and told you where to actually start.

The problem was never you. It's a one-size-fits-all system that hands out the same advice for every animal and sells the next quick fix, instead of asking what's actually right for your dog.

What Rootd Pet is

A translator between you, your pet, and your vet.

Carter reads the science, looks at your animal as a whole ecosystem, and builds a specific plan for your pet, then gives you the language and tools to advocate for them at the vet's office.

The whole animal

We look at the full picture, from puppyhood to today: diet, history, routine, and daily patterns, not a single issue in isolation.

Evidence-informed

Guidance grounded in research, translated into plain language, with the veterinarian kept firmly in the story at every step.

Alongside your vet

Rootd Pet never replaces veterinary care. We help you show up to your vet more prepared, and make sense of what you hear when you do.

The Rootline Method

Five steps. One animal. Yours.

Holistic care isn't a hard turn, it's a ship steered with small, steady corrections. The Rootline Method is how we chart the course together and keep you on it.

01

Root the Picture

A full intake and health-history review, from the early years to now. Diet, past care, routine, temperament, the whole ecosystem that makes your pet who they are.

02

Read the Terrain

Where your pet is today. The everyday patterns you already notice, and what they tell us about where to begin.

03

Chart the Course

A custom strategy built for your individual animal, across the everyday choices that shape their days: nutrition, routine, movement, and rest, designed to complement your veterinary care.

04

Watch the Data

Track sleep, activity, and daily change with a companion monitoring device, so progress is something you can see and measure, not something you have to guess at.

05

Steer the Ship

Small, ongoing adjustments over time, with you in the driver's seat, learning to read your own animal and make the next call with confidence.

Who it's for

If any of this sounds like your day, you're in the right place.

For the senior years

You want to make these years count.

  • You've noticed your old friend slowing down, and it tugs at you
  • The routines that used to work feel like they need a rethink
  • You want a real plan for the time you have left together
When you've tried it all

You've tried everything, and you're still guessing.

  • You've spent real money on things that promised the world
  • You can't always tell what's helping and what's just noise
  • You want something built for your pet, not a generic checklist

Wherever you are, you don't have to make the next call by yourself. Rootd Pet gives you a partner who knows your pet's whole story, always working alongside your veterinary team, never around them.

The person in your corner

Carter Easler, Pet Health Strategist & clinical researcher.

Carter's work began where it matters most: hands-on, with senior rescue dogs at Fireflake Farm, watching how the right food, the right routine, and steady, patient adjustment could change an animal's day-to-day life. That's where the philosophy behind Rootd Pet took shape, one animal at a time.

Today he sits between two worlds, the clinical research he leads and the holistic community that trusts him, translating what the science actually says into a plan a pet parent can use. He is not a veterinarian, and he'll be the first to tell you so. He's the calm, well-read friend who knows the questions you didn't know to ask.

Grounded in real research

Carter doesn't just read the studies, he runs them. As Principal Investigator, he led a published, real-world study following senior dogs over time, the same evidence-first lens he brings to your pet's plan.

His research is early-stage and preliminary; findings may not directly predict outcomes for any individual pet, and larger controlled studies are still needed. Read the published research ‚Üí

The Rootline Commitment

We can't promise an outcome. We can promise our work.

Anyone who guarantees a health result for your animal isn't being honest with you. What we stand behind is the part we control, delivered every single week:

  • A written, vet-collaborative plan by the end of your first week.
  • A weekly one-on-one to review the data and adjust the course.
  • A response to any flare-up within 48 hours, so you're never left waiting.

If we ever miss one of those commitments, we keep working at no additional charge until we deliver it.

The Rootline Commitment Our work, guaranteed, in writing.
Honest answers

The questions every thoughtful pet parent asks.

Is this veterinary care?

No. Carter is not a veterinarian, and Rootd Pet does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. This is education and coaching that works alongside your veterinarian, focused on nutrition, routine, and the everyday choices that shape your pet's days.

Do I have to stop working with my vet?

Never, the opposite. Your veterinarian stays at the center of your pet's care. Our job is to help you arrive more prepared, ask better questions, and make sense of what you hear.

Will you tell me to change my pet's medication?

No. We never advise starting, stopping, or changing any medication. Anything to do with prescriptions, dosing, or treatment stays between you and your prescribing veterinarian.

What kind of results can I expect?

Every animal is different, and we don't make promises about health outcomes. What we do promise is a specific plan, consistent one-on-one guidance, and a measured way to see change over time so you're never guessing.

How does it actually start?

With a free discovery call. We talk about your pet and what you're navigating, and if it's a good fit, we begin with a full intake and health-history review before your first working session.

Your pet's next chapter

It starts with one honest conversation.

No pressure and no diagnosis, just a real conversation about your pet and whether working together is right for you both.
